Couture Xpress by Labcreatif

In 2008 & 2009 I participated in Couture Xpress hosted by Lab Creatif (organization Supporting local Fashion designers), in which I made a dress (or outfit) in 60 minutes using recycled clothing from Village de Valeurs. Here's a peak at my " in the moment" creations. I strongly believe in supporting new talent in the industry
and it's one of the main reasons why I am a teacher & mentor now!!

My Sewing Student Mariana's project
My 1st sewing student Mariana has created with me, only accessories. Handbags, wallets, Make-up bags....and all the above! She enjoys all the creations with intricate details or complex structures. I admire her dedication to completing each one with such determination. Here's a little taste of her own creation ( pattern and sewing were done by her! )
